Treasure Island II


This task is about marking positions on a treasure map with a scale.

Four pirates decide to dig for buried treasure on Treasure Island. They all start from the dot beside letter X and walk in different directions to dig for the treasure. By following the directions below, mark on the map where each pirate starts digging. One square on the map equals 100 paces.
 
Directions:

  1. Alf takes 600 paces west. Put a dot where Alf stops. Mark this with the letter A.
  2. Betty takes 500 paces south. Put a dot where Betty stops. Mark this with the letter B.
  3. Claire takes 300 paces north and 600 paces east. Put a dot where Claire stops. Mark this with the letter C.
  4. Dan takes 200 paces east, 300 paces south and, 500 paces west. Put a dot where Dan stops. Mark this with the letter D.
