Materials that allow light to pass right through them are called transparent materials. You can see things through them easily. |

Materials that reflect all the light that shines on them and do not allow any light to pass through are called opaque. You cannot see things through them. |

Materials that allow some light to pass through them are called translucent materials. When you look through them things look blurred. |
