Practical Task

This is a drawing of a triangular prism.  

  Use the shapes you are given to make three different net patterns for this prism.

 

a)  Make the first net pattern with three rectangles touching.

b)  Make the second net pattern with only two rectangles touching.

c)  Make the third net pattern with no rectangles touching.

 

Cut out one set of shapes at a time and use sellotape to stick the shapes together so each net pattern is in one piece.

You may want to fold your net pattern into a prism to test it but do not stick it together, leave it as a flat net pattern.
