Making number sentences

This task is about writing and solving number sentences.

A number sentence uses numbers and symbols instead of words.

For example, a story problem is:

Tamatea has 12 marbles, and Bob has 9 marbles. How many marbles do they have altogether? 

and 12 + 9 = ? is a number sentence.
