This task is about testing a fabric for given properties.
Zoe, a well known clothes designer, is creating new swimwear.
Four different types of fabric have been sent to her and she has to decide which fabric would best suit her swimwear.
There are three properties that Zoe must consider. In order of importance, these are:
1.
2.
3.
|
the fabric must not be transparent when wet,
the fabric must be able to be stretched on the diagonal, and
if possible, the fabric should be light-weight when wet.
|
For each property, carry out a "fair test" to help you decide which fabric you would recommend to Zoe. As the fabric must be dry to test its stretch, do this test first.
For each property you test, write down what you did and your results. |
