This task is about grouping substances as compounds, mixtures or elements.
A compound is a substance that contains atoms of two or more elements joined together and cannot be easily separated.
A mixture is a substance composed of two or more forms of matter that can be easily separated.
An element is a pure substance composed of one type of atom.
