Students use the periodic table and their own knowledge to complete the types of atoms present, and total number of atoms present for three compounds.

65% of students were able to write down correctly the names of the three elements, while 28% wrote down just Aluminium.
For the number of atoms, 21% gave 3, 19% gave 4, 19% gave 7, 10% gave no number, and 7% gave 5 for the number of atoms.
