Combinations resources

Different selections are made from a canteen menu that will cost a given amount. An extension activity is given that asks for all possible combinations to be found.

Students identify the most likely combination of throws for a fair coin, and explain their reasons.

Students record all the different combinations of lunches that could be chosen from five possibilities.

Students calculate the probability of randomly choosing certain scrabble letters, or combinations of letters.
