This task is about presenting a book review.

Prepare an oral book review for your class or a group, promoting a book that you have read recently.

Your review should include:

  • the title and author of the book
  • a brief overview of what happens in the book
  • the genre [type] of book
  • the features of the book that made it enjoyable to read
  • a reading of a short passage to introduce your audience to the book, i.e., some excellent descriptive writing, a dramatic moment, or a section that you found memorable
  • where you can get the book from.

You should be prepared to take questions at the end of the speech.
