This task is about making a farewell speech.

Pretend that one of the staff members is leaving your school.
It could be the caretaker, the librarian, or a teacher.
 
Your task is to give a short farewell speech to this person.
Your speech will need to include:
  • who is leaving and why
  • what you have gained or learnt from this person
  • what you will miss when this person leaves
  • a final sentence in which you either thank the person or wish them well for the future.
You can use the checklist below to help prepare your speech.
