All right class,
On Friday we are going on a school trip to the zoo. We have a lot to do, so listen to your tasks and instructions carefully.
We will meet at the entrance to the zoo at 9:30 a.m. You can catch the number 15 or number 26 bus, which go directly to the zoo. It costs ten dollars to get in. The zoo is huge and we will only have time to see animals that we are studying for our projects. I want you to walk through the zoo, passing the monkey, the lion, and the chimpanzee enclosures, to the Education Centre where we will listen to a talk given by zoo staff. After that we will go to the nocturnal house. In there, I want you to take notes on the brown kiwi and native bats. We will then walk to the rainforest and make sketches of the ruffed lemurs and the native ducks in the lake. Then we will all meet in the zoo shop at twelve o'clock before getting on the bus to go back to school for lunch.
