a)  Place brackets in the following equations to make the statements true.

    i)  20  –  4  ×  3  =  48

   ii)  56  ÷  5  +  3  =  7

  iii)  30  –  8  +  7  =  15

  iv)  64  –  10  ÷  6  =  9

   v)  40   ÷  6  +  2  =  5

  vi)  39  –  6  +  7  =  26
 

b)  Solve the following statements: (Hint: remember the order of operations)
