This task is about drawing 3-D shapes with isometric paper.
a)  Construct the 3-dimensional shape shown below, using multi-link cubes.

Get your 3-dimensional shape checked by your teacher before you continue.
(Tick box once checked.)

b)  i)  Draw the shape when viewed from the front right-hand corner onto the isometric paper below.

Task administration:
Equipment:
Multi-link cubes (13 per student).
  • This task assesses students' ability to draw a 3-dimensional shape onto isometric paper.
  • Students can do part a) individually, in pairs, or in groups. The remaining parts of the question should be completed individually.
  • You will need to assess the students' constructions in part a) before they begin part b).
Level:
4
Description of task:
For this practical task students draw on isometric paper different views of a model they have constructed.
