This task is about making different rectangles.

Practical task

a) Use 12 cubes to make as many different rectangle shapes as you can. After you have made each shape, either show it to your teacher or draw a picture of it in the space below and label the length and width. Remember to use all 12 cubes for each different rectangle shape you make. The first one has been done for you.

b) Now use 30 cubes to make as many different rectangle shapes  as you can. After you have made each shape, either show it to you teacher or draw a picture of it on the back of this page and label the length and width.
