This task is about preparing and giving a talk about a news item.

Your task is to give a talk to another student or a small group of students about a news item that interests you.
You can use the checklist below to help plan your talk.

Task administration: 
  • Decide on the length of the speech with the students before they begin their planning.
  • Encourage the audience to be ready to ask questions of the speaker.
