This task is about completing shape patterns with transformations.
Practical task
 
a)
Cut out 4 of the squares from the bottom of the page. Put them on the grid below to show a repeating pattern in which each square translates (slides).
When you have done this, glue each square down. The first square has been done for you.

Cut out 4 of the squares from the bottom of the page. Put them on the grid below to show a repeating pattern in which each square reflects (flips) from the one before.
When you have done this, glue each square down. The first square has been done for you.
 
c)
Cut out 4 of the squares from the bottom of the page. Put them on the grid below to show a repeating pattern in which each square rotates (turns) a 1/4 turn clockwise from the one before.
