Task administration: 

This task can be completed with pencil and paper or online with auto-marking.

Equipment

Four pieces of A4 card or paper in four different colours – red, blue, green, and yellow; four chairs on which to tape card or paper.

  • This task could be done either inside the classroom or outside.
  • Prior to students doing this task place each piece of coloured card or paper on the back of a chair and arrange the chairs, as shown in the diagram below, either around the edge of the classroom or outside
  • Make sure students are facing the correct colour between each set of instructions.
  • The instructions can be read out or students can work independently by reading them from the sheet.
