Gidday Nickster,
Dad gave me this really neat writing pad, the best gift a girl could want, so I'm writing to you to show him it's so really useful, not!
So you're the first person to receive a letter on my new absolutely unbelievable stationery, and probably the last. My parents are so retro when it comes to presents but I suppose that's our problem.
How's New Plymouth and the new school? I miss playing in the netball team with you. But I'm sure we will meet up soon. Hey send me a stamped SAE for a real surprise!!!

Your friend,

Angela

P.S. We have made the finals. We'll miss your goal shooting!
