a)  Hemi's parents grow flowers. This week they have a total of 440 different flowers.
     i)  If \(3 \over 4\) of the 440 flowers are daffodils, how many daffodils are there? __________ 
 
     ii)  If \(1 \over 20\) of the 440 flowers are carnations, how many carnations are there? __________
 

b)  The librarian wanted all of the 560 books returned to the library for stocktaking.
     When the books were counted \(1 \over 8\) of the books had not been returned.
 
     What number of books had been returned? __________

c)  A shearer could shear 400 sheep in a day.

     If he shears at the same rate for 4\(3 \over 4\) days, how many sheep does he shear? ________
