This task is about showing and writing equations with negative numbers on number lines.
On Day 1 of a week the temperature changed from 5°C below (⁻5°C) to 5°C above zero (+5°C), as shown on the number line below.
This change may also be written as an equation: ⁻5°C + 10°C = 5°C.
