  • Nouns are naming words. Nouns name things. Highlight all the nouns in yellow.
  • Verbs are doing words. Verbs name actions. Highlight all the verbs in green.
  • Adjectives are words used to describe nouns. Highlight all the adjectives in blue.
  • Adverbs are words used to describe verbs. Highlight all the adverbs in pink.
